some days are good days
Jan. 7th, 2006 03:27 pmReclining with a purring kitten on my tummy, I noted that the dear feline needed his claws clipped. I picked him up and carried him over my shoulder, still purring, into the bathroom. I retrieved the clippers and set the kitten on lap, giving him headbutts and picking up his paws. He squirmed a bit, but nary a hiss was emitted- no bats or scratches or thrashing either. A few minutes later, I picked up the kitten, kissed the top of his head, put him over my shoulder, and went back to my seat. He's still purring.
Also, elizabeth made cookies and left me some. mmmmm, cookies. Perhaps I should walk and feed her dog more often! ;-) I also had a good day with grendal- went to give him his midday food and outdoor time, and then curled up on the sofa with him for an hour and read a book. Really, that dog is more cat-like than my cat.
I think perhaps I need a nap.
