there's only one way to find out

So, I woke up this morning around 6. After noodling around for a while, at 6:30 I thought to myself- self, I wonder how long it takes to walk to west falls church?

Well, now. I really don't know. So I put some shorts and a tank top on, grabbed a liter of water, and ventured out the door to find out.

About three and a quarter hours, as it turns out. It's around 13 miles, so... not great, but not terrible. Perhaps next weekend I'll walk to bethesda. I'll note that the keens didn't give me a blister, but after about 8 miles I really did consider that perhaps I should have worn different shoes.

And now, a shower.
