Aug. 4th, 2008 01:33 pmOk, so now I have no idea how I came across these... suffice it to say that it was a whole lot of random web surfing.
But last night I came across a guy's running blog where he talked about the Vibram five-fingers shoes. Ooooh, nifty, I thought. But I can't buy these unseen; no idea how they will fit. It turns out only one place nearby has them: Potomac Paddlesports
So this morning I called them up and asked if they had any in stock. They did, so I ambled out there.
Gotta say, I know they *look* weird, but these are seriously nifty and pretty darn comfy:
More updates after I wear them for a while. Oh, as it happens, they are running a huge sale on a lot of other gear. In case anyone is into paddlesports.
